BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
The department of history was originally established in the year 1974 but could not survive until November, 2017 when Dr.Iyela Ajayi re-established it as a result of agitation from the schools around for history teachers as the subject has been reintroduced into the curriculum of secondary schools.
Today the department has NCE 1 and NCE 2 students and we hope that it will continue to wax stronger as times goes on.
