BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Political Science in the School of Arts and Social Science was approved to commence academic activities as from 2017/2018 academic session. The Department started with a student population of 35 in 100 level and 5 departmental staff.
Currently the staff population has improved significantly to 14(13 Academic and 1 non Academic). The Department is working tirelessly preparing for its first accreditation due in 2020. The current and Pioneer HOD of the Department is Japa Muhammad Idris.
