BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
The department of Geography was established in early 2017 when the committee saddled with the responsibility of seeing to the establishment of the three new departments (History, Geography and Economics) in the School of Arts and Social Sciences met and gave a favourable report for its establishment
The department has a laboratory manned by a cartographer, a resource room and class rooms. The staff strength currently stands at ten (10) academic staff. Full academic activities started in 2017/2018 session.
