ALL STAFF ASSOCIATION

Historical Background

The association was formed by concerned staff of the Federal College of Education, Okene in the year 2022. It started with the name Patriotic Staff Association of Federal College of Education, Okene. It was formed with the aim to assist identified indigent students in the college by provision of financial assistance in their areas of needs. However, in the year 2023/2024, the college began to experience a very acute dearth of new intake (100level) students’ admission.

Admission unit of the college carried out an independent survey in June 2024 to find out the cause of the apparent dwindling student enrolment in the college and the result shows that it is caused by the current abject poverty that is faced with the people in our communities. This becomes a matter of serious concern to all staff in the college.
