Continuous Assessment (CA) 40%.
End of Semester Examination 60%.
A student who has no score in continuous assessment will earn a technical failure irrespective of his/her score in the semester examination.
A registered student for the NCE programme must attain a 75% attendance to be allowed to write the end of Semester Examination. This is very important and all students must comply with the policy. For instance, a student who returns five weeks after the resumption date in a semester will certainly not attain 75% attendance and as a result, will not be eligible to sit for the end of the semester Examination.
A list of students duly registered for a course(s) in a department constitutes the class list. A student whose matriculation number name and registered course are not on the class list, is not eligible to sit for end of Semester Examination.
