The Management, staff and students of Federal College of Education, Okene condole and sympathises with the family of late Mr. Emmanuel Idowu Olorunmowaju, who slept in the Lord on 28th July, 2019 at the age of 70.
Late Mr. Emmanuel Idowu Olornmowaju was a former Bursar of the College, who served for two successful terms from April 1993 – 30th April, 2003. Subsequently, after his tenure, in the College, he also served for a single term as Bursar, Federal College of Education, Obudu from 2003 – 2008.
He thereafter returned back to Federal College of Education, Okene and was appointed as the Director, College Revenue Yielding Organ, a position he held until his retirement in April, 2009.
Late Mr. Olorunmowaju was an accomplished professional Accountant and a member of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and a role model whose mentorship shall always be remembered. He was laid to rest on 20th September, 2019 at his residence in Kabba.
